Why Attend?
As an annual event, Beauty Tech Conference keeps you up-to-date with industry regulations, and changes in industry requirements. It helps set industry best practice through correct training and education in topics such as melanoma and skin cancers and laser safety and science. It also helps keep you on top of your professional development. We are not all about what’s new and hot at the peak of the season, but rather what will give your business the building blocks to ensure a solid foundation for staying successful for the long term with industry experts, business mentors and guidance. We even throw in some fun and motivation for good measure. Beauty Tech Conference is 100% NZ owned and run by Ruth Nicholson and her talented team. With a vast personal experience in the industry herself, Ruth understands what needs to be provided and what is missing and so Beauty Tech Conference was born.
Past key speakers have included plastic surgeons, Dr Stephen Mills and Gregory Taylor, Surgical oncologist, Mr Richard Martin, Cosmetic Physicians, Dr Frances Pitsillis, Dr Catherine Stone, and Dr June Engle, and GP’s like Dr Chris Dickey who specialises in dermascopy. Unique and engaging speakers have included Professor Peter Molan (Waikato University), Cosmetic nurse practitioner Deborah Wake, as well as an impressive line-up of industry experts such as Chiza Westcarr (Advanced skin technology), Florence Barrett-Hill, and Christa Dickson (Celtine). The conference programme offers a range of speakers, some are sponsored by the conference itself and some are from pre-sold sponsored companies.
Each year Beauty Tech Conference proudly sponsors the following charities: Melanoma Foundation of NZ and Dress for success, Auckland. Click here to find out more.
